Breastfeeding (la lactancia materna)
The breastfeeding is when the mother gives milk to baby. Is a natural process. The OMS and UNICEF says “is a unique way of providing ideal food for growth and proper development of children”.
The mother’s milk contains every nutrient the babies need.
Gives defenses
Stimulate the Intellectual development, stimulate tooth calcification, the mother’s milk is more inexpensive that supplement milk.
Also help the mother weight loos (Maintain a healthy weight).
Strengthen union mother-baby: the baby feel loved, and the baby learn to confide in other people
